As my summer movie list continues to fill up, and summer begins to wind down, there is simply no way get all the info I need to see what movie is view-worthy…or at least there was, until ScreenSlam was released.

ScreenSlam is toted by its developers as “the ultimate app for watching trailers, clips, premieres, celebrity interviews, behind the scenes footage, exclusive content and much more;” and honestly, I can’t disagree. The application’s intent is to bring together ScreenSlam’s wide range of entertainment coverage, from movie trailers to celebrity interviews. The app is actually filled with content, I was really surprised with the amount of interviews, trailers, and other “exclusive” content that lies within the app. ScreenSlam not only gives you access to tons of great content that any movie lover would swoon over, but it also gives you the ability to “favorite and recall” your favorite vids. The only thing that I really wish the app could do is to save the video for offline viewing for when I don’t have an internet connection.

ScreenSlam is a very beautiful app, filling up the iPad’s 9.7 inch screen with loads of info without feeling busy. Taking full advantage of the iPad’s screen allows ScreenSlam to display a slider of the most popular interviews and trailers at the top while also displaying additional content below. I really like the way the app is laid out; navigation is incredibly easy and makes the app not only great to use, but really one of the best apps in its category.

ScreenSlam is an amazing app, I was not expecting the level on content that this app has. I’ve used plenty of apps that claim to be an entertainment-lover’s dream, but all have turned out to be relatively crappy. ScreenSlam has not only won a place on my iPad’s dock, but in my heart.

    • Great UI
    • Tons of content

    • Wish there was offline trailer saving
